    We’ve provided bins in the kitchen and instructions for outdoor bins to help keep things tidy. Details of refuse collection can be found in the welcome folder and we'll send you a friendly text reminder whenever any bins need to be put out. The council are working towards recycling options for local businesses, so watch this space!

  • Heating & Log Burner

    The house has central heating throughout and underfloor heating in the main bathroom and master en-suite. The log burner is prepped with kindling and wood - feel free to light it using the gloves and firelighters provided. An infant safety guard is installed for added peace of mind.

  • Dogs

    We love our four-legged friends - but The Cherry Tree is a pet-free property to help us keep the space allergy-friendly and extra comfortable for all our guests.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

  • All beds are made with high-quality linen and seasonal bedding. Certain beds come with feather duvets and pillows, so if there are any allergies to be aware of, please inform us ahead of your stay so we can provide an alternative.

  • Towels are provided for each guest with hand towels and bath mats in every bathroom.

  • The roll-top bath takes a little longer to fill, but it’s worth the wait!

  • The dressing table in the master bedroom doubles up as a workstation.

  • Travel cots and highchairs are available, with fixed stair gates top and bottom, just let us know whats required ahead of your stay. We'll even leave you a basket of infant toys, books and games so its one less thing to pack.

Kitchen Notes

  • Fully equipped with everything you should need.

  • Yorkshire Tea, Nespresso and Azera coffee, sugar, and a few pantry staples are in the cupboards.

  • The American fridge-freezer hosts your welcome milk and has an ice machine with filtered water.

  • Dishwasher tabs & cleaning supplies are under the sink.

  • The Rangemaster cooker features two ovens and a grill, with instructions available in the welcome folder.

  • Infant utensils and dishes, safety latches for curious little ones and even a micro steriliser for the smallest guests.

  • We’ve left menus for some of our favourite local takeaways too.

Outdoor Spaces


  • Driveway: There is parking for 4 cars. For any extra vehicles, please refrain from parking on the roadside. Additional parking is available at the Village Hall if necessary.

  • Garden: The back garden is fully enclosed, making it perfect for children. Discover a peaceful spot to listen to the birds, watch the butterflies and bees, and enjoy the scent of the roses. We kindly ask that you help preserve this cottage garden by staying on the patio and lawn areas.

  • Dining area: Great for warm evenings, and breakfast al fresco in summer.

  • Corner sofa: A perfect place to savour your morning coffee in the sunlight, dive into a book, or come together and toast with a drink or two.

Wraiths Catering & Bakes You’ll be welcomed with a complimentary bake on arrival, freshly made by the lovely Wraiths team. They also offer rustic celebration cakes for special occasions — just let us know in advance and we’ll help organise.

    Just down the road in Harby, you’ll find one of our favourite ways to slow down: a peaceful, traffic-free path that forms part of the Sustrans National Cycle Network. Route 647 stretches out in both directions, and you can make your wander as long or as short as you like.
